The Little Prince in Patriżju is now available !
For years, I have developed an overwhelming passion for foreign languages, especially Catalan, Portuguese, Romansh and Maltese. My dream has always been to create my own language, a language which would retain only the aspects I like the most in other languages.
Thus was born Patriżju (pronounced : pa-trits-you) – a language with vocabulary mainly based on Romansh and Italian (but with Catalan, Sardinian and Portuguese influences); a spelling based on Maltese and Monégasque and a grammar inspired by Portuguese and Italian.
Since Patrizju was born, I have translated a dozen texts and books. For instance, I have translated several titles from the comic series "The Adventures of Tintin" (The Shooting Star, The Crab with the Golden Claws and The Black Island), fairy tales (such as Snow White) but also more legal texts (such as The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union or The Universal Declaration of Human Rights).
But my most ambitious project has been the translation of The Little Prince : IP-PRINĠEDDU in Patrizju, which was published in November 2020 (only 100 copies were printed). It is a very original translation as the text is not illustrated by the watercolours of Saint-Exupéry but by totally original illustrations, drawn by a very talented Spanish illustrator : Carmen Nogales.

I prefer to exchange this book with other collectors of The Little Prince, i.e. I am ready to exchange one copy of my book for either any translation that I am still looking for or a translation with very original illustrations.
